You want to offer a ring but how to choose the right size? This is a question that is often asked to me. Is it better to take bigger or tighter? How to measure it? Are there different measures for different countries?

We will see together in this post how to choose the ring that suits you perfectly!

  1. The first way to know your ring size is to visit a professional jeweler. The jeweler can use either his triboulet (left photo) to measure one of your rings already owned by you or use a baguier (right photo) to measure your finger directly and make the right choice.

If it is to offer and you do not want to spoil the surprise, you can go directly to the shop with a ring already belonging to the happy loved one.

  1. As it is not always possible to go to a professional and you want to make your purchase online, here is an easy method to use at home.

You will need a tool to measure and a ring that you wear on the finger on which you will be wearing your new ring.

You simply need to measure the inside diameter of the ring referring to the diagram and table below. This must be accurate because every millimeter is important.

Look at the number in front of the size in millimeters. It's your ring size! Example: you measure the inside diameter and it is 17.2 mm, this corresponds to a size 54!

If you have a hesitation, it is recommended to take the size just above rather than a smaller size. It's important that the ring does not hold you tight and sometimes we win or lose a size or half-size in the day.

In Belgium and France we use the ring size EUROPE. But also exists USA / UK size and JAPAN size.

If you have any questions, I am available by email. I will be happy to help you.

Good work! ;))
